How To Draw Pigeon Mo Willems

My half-dozen twelvemonth old son is entirely responsible for this mail service! He came home from school one day, and said "shall I teach you lot how to depict a pigeon?" It  turns out that he'd read a Mo Willems' "Dove" volume at schoolhouse, and had decided to copy the pigeon. Without any reference in front end of him, this is what he drew:

Bear in heed that so far we only have ane volume past Mo Willems: Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus – and we've had information technology for just a few weeks. So I was super impressed, and I asked him to draw the pigeon again as a tutorial, so that we could show you all!

Stride 1: Depict a circle (the head).

Step two: Draw a smaller circumvolve inside (the eye).

Step three: Draw a filled-in circumvolve inside the heart.

Step 4: Draw 2 long lines down from  the caput (the cervix).

Step 5: Depict the pecker (facing the opposite way from the middle).

Step 6: Depict two lines at the superlative of the neck.

Step vii: Add the body.

Step 8: Draw the wing.

Stride 9: Add together ii lines for the legs.

Step 10: Add together two lines to each leg for the feet.
